Actually, the upside down cross is also a metaphor for satanism, as is the baphomet sigil used by a lot of "pastel goths. While I do agree that some hipsters have no clue on what satanism or goth is, most of the pastel goths I know are generally educated people making an anti-religious fashion statement. Like you said regarding music styles, just because someone wears pink and pastels doesnt mean they cant be a goth. This video just makes you sound conceited and unaccepting of others.

"The upside down cross is not a metaphor for satanism, the upside-down Crucifix is. And as for baphomet, he was originally a pagan symbol, only recently used as a symbol for satanism. "Often mistaken for Satan, it represents the duality of male and female, as well as Heaven and Hell or night and day signified by the raising of one arm and the downward gesture of the other. It can be taken in fact, to represent any of the major harmonious dichotomies of the cosmos.

(Now its my turn to reply.)
Explain to me where the hell you get this information from because if I remember correctly, Paganism was out several thousands of years before f---ing Satanism. The fact of the point is not that Im conceited nor disapproving of others. These supposed, "Pastel goths are a new clique that are trying to say that they are what they simply are not. Baphomet is exactly as dictated by CatzaDracul. Look into your history of religious practices and you will see that Baphomet was only RECENTLY depicted as a supposed, Satanic God or rather, the symbolism of Levayan Satanism. I never ONCE said that someone who is goth, could not wear colors. That is where you are putting words into my mouth. What I said, is that they do not know the original basis of which the Goth subculture has originated. IE: Architecture, Art, Music, Heritage etc. I never once said that being colorful was not goth. Not once. Also, what is the point of making an anti-religious fashion statement? Dont get me wrong, Im no Christian, but for f---s sake is it really that necessary to show your discrimination of someone elses belief system so damn profoundly, that you make yourself look like a damned fool? If these pastel goths were anything like the actual Goth subculture, they would realize that there are people of several religions and practices in the goth culture as is, and to dictate that anti-religious practice in itself is a form of discrimination. The fact of the matter is this: Pastel Goths/Nu-Goths are not being, Stereotyped because they do that all in their own. They make themselves look like foolish children running around with their unknowledgeable supposed, anti-religion practices, and thus make themselves just as ignorant and stupid as the KKK, whom, if I do recall, wear their white hooded coats and follow racism to a tee because it goes against their religious backgrounds, personal beliefs, and so on. Now mind you, Im all for people looking how they want. What Im not for, is people using symbolical representations that they do not understand, and trying to use it in such a manner to turn it into a negative thing. IE: Hitler. He made a symbol of peace and unity into a symbol of hatred and war. A.K.A. the Swastika. If you dont know this either, look it up. Originally the Swastika was a symbol of inner peace and unity. Then, after douchebag Hitler reined, it has forever been misguided as a symbol of the Nazis, when it wasnt theirs to f--- with in the beginning. So before You come on my page trying this whole, High and mighty bulls---, educate yourself. Otherwise, you just look like a tool.
