Even if it was in the past, present, or meer future it doesn't matter. It has been said and floated into the memories of both minds. Don't forget that you act as this could all be kicked into the ocean and float into the sub-levels and never return, as many havoc can float up to the surface in a quick momentum. You're still the same person, different conscience that you forced upon yourself. You have grown a bit more pathetic in each past year, depending on everybody's critique of the individual that is you, which is a part of the new mask you have changed which is your other very conscience. It is your weaker one, as I theorize. No matter what, you can't change what has happened because you set everything in your life by yourself, with the accompaniment of others and a force. As I said before, you're the same, no matter what you want or desire to become in front of your "idols" eyes.
So, don't pull that. -
Ooooor, maybe I actually took what people said into consideration and made myself a better person. One that doesn't threaten, start fights as much, and one who is more mature. Even if this was a mask, even if I'm just someone who creates this personality to please others, I've gotten so used to acting this way that regardless if it's just a mask or my real personality that I can't change myself.

Or you could have just switched your conscience and got used to that certain conscience. Trust me, your past person is still there, just trapped for the time being.
