Faeryn_Stem NewbieHeather... Heather is such a beautiful flower. So, for demigods then? I've heard about gods and demigods, but I always thought they were from Mythology. It is very comforting. *Soft smile*
-
Mythology we are not, my friend. I am very real. Or... at least I think I am. I am ninety-nine point ninety-nine percent positive that I am real. Trust is a precious gift, and very rare. You are blessed when you have it.
-
Faeryn_Stem NewbieYou seem real enough to me, but then again, I am just the fifteen year old girl who lives in an insane Asylum in Maghull, Merseyside, England, who would ever listen to me? Hmm... Yes, I guess now that I think of it, trust is a rare gift. I have only trusted few people in the short fifteen years of my life.
-
Well, I do believe I am real, though the possibility of us communicating from alternate universes is there. Fifteen years is a short time, so I do not believe I would have trusted many people in such a time span.
-
Faeryn_Stem NewbieWell, if this is an alternate universe, then I think I like this universe much better. I suppose fifteen years is very short considering how long an average human lives, especially a god or goddess such as yourself no less. How old are you?
-
I am... around eighty something, I believe, however I stopped aging at eighteen, and stopped keeping track. I was born in 1937, however, if that is any indicator. I was never quite good at arithmetic.
-
Faeryn_Stem NewbieHmm... Well, you do look very young, but since the year is twenty fourteen and you were born in nineteen thirty-seven then... *Closes eyes and goes into deep thought*
*Opens eyes* Then you should be seventy-seven years old? I guess there are a few perks to being a demigoddess, yes? You do not age! *Laughs* -
Only few of us do not age. My brother was born in 1937 as well, but from a different mother. He does age, however, but he spent a majority of his life in a place where time does not pass, so he is younger than he truly is. I was lucky enough to be blessed with immortality, so I suppose it does have it's perks.
-
Faeryn_Stem Newbie*Cocks head to the side, much like a dog* A place where time does not pass? So like Neverland then? Are there mermaids and fairies there as well?
May I ask you a question? -
Not quite, more like a cursed building... a terrible place that invites in children and lures them to stay there while time passes outside but not inside. While they're there, the children believe they are having the best times of their lives. It is sickening.
Go ahead, I shall answer to the best of my ability. -
Faeryn_Stem NewbieOh... The place sounded much more fun when you first mentioned it, but now that you have gone into deeper detail, it does not sound so inviting... Who would create such a horrible place?
Well, you are a demigoddess, correct? What powers do you have? From my understanding, most demigods and demigoddesses have some sort of powers depending on their godly parent. And would you think it normal for a mortal to have powers of any kind? -
I haven't the slightest. Probably Ate, the greek goddess of evil and misfortune.
Correct. I can control shadows, travel through shadows, raise the dead (zombies, skeletons, etc.), summon spirits, and control spirits. That's all that I know of, at least. It is perfectly normal for mortals to have powers, many are blessed by the gods, and therefore have talents or sometimes even full-fledged powers. -
Faeryn_Stem NewbieHmm, she sounds like a horrible person... or goddess... or whatever.
All those powers sound really interesting, minus the raising the dead part. Zombies and living skeletons scare the daylights out of me...
Blessed by the gods? Hmm... I have noticed I have a talent with telekinesis, though I do not feel blessed by the gods in any way at all... -
Indeed she is.
I don't particularly enjoy them, they make me an outcast. However, controlling shadows is quite enjoyable.
Well, you wouldn't. Telekinesis is often a gift given by Hera or Juno, and she is... an odd goddess, for lack of a better word. -
Faeryn_Stem Newbie(Ann: I have to go sorry)
Well, who wants to be like everyone else anyways? Being unique or the 'outcast' is much more fun than being normal.
I guess Hera doesn't favor me much then. After the government started doing tests on me, I got the powers. Funny how she gave me these powers through all that horror.
I hear that Hera can be very jealous over girls most times. Quite weird, because even though her husband is kind of a, excuse me, but a 'player' she stays with him. If I were her, I would have left him ages ago.
