I walked down the street to school, thinking about my mom. She left for Arizona this weekend and won't be coming home for 9 days. She said it was a business trip, but I just think she wanted to get out of the house. I have been texting her every night in hopes of her telling me what it's like. Michigan is usually pretty cold, considering it's winter, and we have 24 inches of snow on the ground.
