Amaya sat on a bench, petting her pet cat.
The black spotted golden tabby cat purred. -
Gretchen was confused, scared, and homesick. She hated having her mother take her here, and she dreaded all the bullies who teased her since she first got there. All she wanted to do was go home.

Amaya was a loner. Seeing as the fact as everyone called her a thief. Just becuase her dad was'nt Greek.
Her dad was more of an immature fighter, certainly not a thief.
But Amaya kept quiet, and normally sat in the library, or in the meadow where she was now. -
On this particular day, Gretchen was running from a group of the Ares kids. They loved to pick on her because of her size, and the fact that she won't stand up for herself.

Amaya heard running.Well more likely she felt the vibrations.
She got up, and saw a girl being chased by Ares kids.
Amaya's hands glowed a brilliant gold, and she shot a burst of energy at them from her palms.
They all fell to the ground, dazed for a minute or two.lol -
Gretchen looked back at the Ares kids, and saw them all on the ground. They were moaning, and holding their heads. "Thank you." she saaid to the girl.

"Gretchen, nice to meet you." she replied.

Amaya did'nt want to say hers, but anyway. -
