I ... I guess that's what I didn't understand before...This is my second chance...
Anything is better than nothing, right?
Pain is better than being numb
Static is better than silence
Beginning again is better than being done
Knowing your fate is better than eternal suspense -
If I'm going to die cold and alone, like I deserve, I should at least die in space, where I really belong. A failed mission to end a failed life. Stuck in the void until the heat seeps away and the cold becomes like fire and my mind passes into the next, whatever comes after life, whether it be paradise or pain or nothing, at least I would die where I belong,
There are two places that I belong in...
Space, and in your arms...
If I can't have my final moments in the warmth and love of your arms...
Then I at least want to die in the cold peace of the beyond...
If I can't die in an embrace, let me die in the greatest nothingness.
If I can't die in your loving warmth, let me die in the greatest cold.
If I can't die, the last thing I see being your face, then the last thing I want to see is the view of another world beyond my helmet...
If I can't die in your presence, then let me die alone.
Because I have only two places in which I belong...
Out in the beyond, and in your embrace. -
