My friend put me in confusion. He said that Einstein made a formula which can make time machine if it is solved. He said that Einstein has solved it and then he hide it or burnt it. I an thinking why'd he do that?

If he actually did (I would probably know, if he had, due to how much Ive learned of him) then the reason would probably be that he knew that either it would become a weapon of destruction (look at what happened with nukes...) or that it would create massive paradoxes that would effect the universe in an extremely negative way... -
I think he didn't. But my friend said that the formula still exists.
