May I ask what your reason was for posting on GTQ that you wouldn't be using those words?

Well here let me tell you a little story about the Ancient GTQ Times: when I first joined GTQ, I started swearing because I thought I would fit in better. I also said things like "that's stupid" and laughed at rape jokes. In real life, I have no friends because I don't tolerate this kind of behavior and distance myself from these kind of people.
But here I'm able to fit in by being an ableist weirdo.
Anyway I decided enough of that bulls--- (sorry for swearing it's a habit now I'm trying to stop), therefore announcing that I was done using those terms. I know I'm going to lose friends but I'm done faking. -
So you decided to tell people who honestly don't care if you swear, that you're giving up swearing as a symbolic way to make sure you lose friends?

It comes off as smarmy and like you have some kind of superiority complex. And I honestly don't respect anyone who tries to act better than others.
No one gives a s--- about any of those words. You're among equals. And going out of your way to let everyone know you aren't going to use them makes you look like a smug a--hole.
Also, none of those words are an issue in functioning society. The only people who take them offensively are those who have a personal effect by them, or people like you who take everything too f---ing seriously. Yet another reason it makes you look like a smug a--hole.

the title "sjw" has been appropriated into a term for those who pervert actual issues to fit into their own agenda, which is increasingly common nowadays and is incredibly upsetting since it's setting movements backwards rather than actually helping them.
