The movie is more on the bittersweet tone than sad, in my opinion. I did see it theatrically as a kid, so lucky me.

When he had the "Ugly Duckling" book and went in to the woods and said "I'm lost" that was kind of sad to me.
And, at the end, it was funny when him and Jumba(?) were fighting, BUT, when the house got messed up and he accidentally ripped Lilo's family photo. -

The beginning of the film was especially more hilarious because Stitch was mouthing off something inappropriate in front of the Counsel, usinghis alien language. I always thought he was cussing. xD

I remember that haha. cx Ohhh it was really funny when he was at the shelter and Lilo said something I think she said he was special? And they showed Stitch picking his nose and then eating it. XD Gross. Oh and, when she gave him coffee at her house and he made (I think) San Francisco and he started destroying it and Lilo said "No more caffeine for you."
