It scared me when I first started fifth grade. Most of the male voices I knew were either boys at school (so not quite adult voices yet), Dad's, Eddie's, or Papa's. I was used to Papa having a low voice because he's my grandfather and stuff, but I walk into class and the first time I hear Mr. Davis' voice I was all "OMG. IT'S. SO. LOW." But I didn't say that out loud, of course. ^^'
