The Trojan War is something we learn about in sixth grade reading, and finish off in eight grade advanced english and geography. Today I will be explaining you the basics of the war. Any questions? (^ - ^) -
Good, let's get started. ^*^
-
The Trojan War is part of Greek mythology. The war was against the city of Troy.
Any questions so far? -
Good, let us continue.
The war is one of the most important events in Greek mythology and has been narrated through many works of Greek literature, most notably through Homer's Iliad.(which is commonly read in seventh grade english) The Iliad relates a part of the last year of the siege of Troy; its sequel, the Odyssey describes Odysseus's journey home. The Odyssey is at times read in eighth grade English classes, so i'm sure most of you are familiar with it. If you haven't been to eighth grade then guess what, you're getting a head start!
Tune in for more details tomorrow. Chibi Jane is tired now. x3x -
