Helena is part of the album "three cheers for sweet revenge" by My chemical Romance. The album tells the vampire story about a man and a woman who fell in love, but were separated by death in a car accident- hence the lyrics in Helena explaining the death of Helena, " when both our cars colide"- the man made a deal with the devil and pretty much the rest of the c.d. tells the remaining part of the story.
It's a beautiful song. Gerard also put the "can you hear me? Are you near me?" Part in Helena because he was asking his grandmother if she in fact was near him since she already passed away.
Sorry, I just had to make that clear. It's also interesting to know. -
