I feel I'm one of the few people who didn't try to imitate Sapphire and Ruby when making a duo of gems. Morganite and Spinel are supposed to be more sister like, and I'm still working on their fusion, but it's not a romantic relationship at all. They're just allies who'd defend each other to the death.
Also, I wish they'd reveal more about the Homeworld. I kind of want to make it so Spinel was on the side of the Homeworld, and Morganite sided with Rose, but during the fight, since Morganite couldn't stand others getting hurt, she defended Spinel, who was already having doubts, and the two teamed up, fleeing the fighting altogether. -
