so there's this theory that Storyshift Chara was just as bad as original Chara when they fell to the Underground, and originally they had killed almost everyone.
But Sans, the King, stopped them, or at least attempted and almost succeeded.
But Chara reset, and realized that there's so much more to life than just killing, and eventually, after a few more resets because of some accidents, mellowed out and became a great big sibling for Asriel.
But Sans remembers. Maybe not as much as the other Sans, but he got enough of a feeling that he knew he couldn't trust humans anymore, so he decided to make the rule about killing all humans-Save for Chara, who was now counted among the monsters.
So Papyrus, feeling the rule was unfair and wanting nothing to do with harming humans, left.
and now Sans is all alone, trying to pretend that everything is okay. -
Chara is a cool big sibling. And Asriel is gonna be a fine knight, just like his mom.
Yes Toriel is the head knight in this AU.
She is scary and amazing. -
I assume this is Storyshift mixed with Flowertale, maybe? -
if you think about it
King Sans has it even worse off than Asgore in a way
he doesn't really have the backing of the other monsters about killing the humans
even Toriel questions him, his own head of guard.
and it breaks his heart bc he can't tell them why
because who would believe him? -

Chara has swapped with Sans and Asriel is Papyrus
but they're still kids so they are playful af and Asriel loves pranks. -
some people keep Frisk the same, and some swap them with Mettaton but I
I keep them the same, bc it just makes more sense??
Like, if they swapped with Mettaton, why would the monsters have to kill them??
Toriel would have no reason to fight them or suspect anything
neither would Sans.
