Exactly! They do whatever you want. You can even use them in battle... But that's not they're special.

Ok... And the special abilites are like this:
Snooping: Check on other's resources/safely observe area
Disease: Causes small damage over-time, hard to get rid of.
Burning: Causes medium damage quickly, easy to get rid of.
Any other specials you think might help? -

Ok, this is what happens.
's make disease. They are much more use-ful against large kingdoms.
's burn things. They do heavy damage at first, then cause medium damage over time. More useful against small villages.
's can snoop. Not the best in direct battle.
Also, people can control different things depending on what rank they are.
= the king/queen/leader. They control just about every-thing, but more important matters are discussed with high-ranking nobles. -

Items -
's are scouts. No damage. Very small health.
's are heavy fortifications.
's are light fortifications.
's are small houses.
's are large houses.
's are invaders. Small damage, cause disease. Low health.
's are aerial support. Medium damage, hard to attack.
's are the leaders. Or, kings, if you want.
's are cavalry. No health, high damage.
's are evil champions. High health, high damage, slow.
's are same as 's, but good.
's are more powerful scouts. Low health, medium damage, very fast.
= alive.
= dead.
I will make a thread for an entire rule book, and add emoticons. First we have to agree on the stuff.
