My 3rd cousin is visiting my family and I. Ive been dreading this day for a couple days now. My mom gets mad if I talk to my cousin sometimes. Why?
Well.. last time my cousin was over (3 weeks ago), he was laying his head on my lap so he could reach something then my mom walked into the room. She got mad and suspected "something was going on" but no matter how many times a stressed the fact that nothing is going on, she never believed me. She began to accuse us of kissing. Which, in fact, was way off target. I never kissed my cousin. I dont think of him like that.
Back to present day..
He has only been here for like 6 hours and Im already annoyed. Hes cursing and acting like hes king of our house. Hes already broke a game of ours, kicked our football into a freaking ex-pedo's backyard, and disrespected everyone.
How has he disrespected me?
I have a dream of becoming a psychologist. I devote everything I do. I was looking for colleges when my cousin asked, "Why are you going to college, anyway?" and my little brother responded for me. He said, "She wants to be a psychologist." So my cousin turned around and said, "Shes still chasing that dream?" then he looked at me and explained, "Youre never going to make it." I must admit, his comment stung more harshly than it probably shouldve but I turned around and said, "Yea well I bet youll finally stop saying that when youre at my door asking me to help you with your problems." He rolled his eyes and simply said, "I wouldnt come to see you. I see you too much as it is."
So with that, I left. I went to slumber for a bit when his loud obnoxious self is yelling and waking me up. And my step dad was also sleeping. My step dad works at nights so he has to sleep during the day. Did my cousin care? Obviously not because its apparent he hasnt a clue what respect is. Hes always hitting me and punching me and leaving bruises and making my arms swell. He hurts me a lot.
Im starting to wish my step dads parents were here rather than my cousin. My grandparents are old and grumpy, annoying and mean, and controlling. They took custody over a 2 year old a few months ago so they had brought the child with them. I watched the child a lot and he didnt really listen much, but I get that because hes 2 years old.. But my grandparents would always yell and threaten to hit him then actually hit him. And he got bruises everywhere so hed cry in pain constantly.
Yelling grandparents and screaming crying children are better than my disrespectful cousin.
My entry for today is over. I have to prepare for his parents to be here in a few hours.
