LOL! I find it hard trying to imagine a background but when I finally think up what I want, the rest is pretty easy. xD
I'm doing a colored pencil drawing like that one, but it's of a couple sitting by a river, when I'm done I'll put it on dA for yea to see. xD -

It takes me hours to think up a background and then several more hours to draw it and then a few days to edit it into the way I want it to and then...oh f---ing lord I might trash it and start all over again >.>' i hate my OCD perfectionist persona because its a HUGGGEEEE time waster when the first one was fine

Hours? LoL, it takes me about an hour to do the actual drawing and get it ready, and perhaps an hour or two to color it in and all, I remember days when I used to do multiple drawings in one day, they were all good, but I gave them to my friend.
