Sorry. It's because of the churches moved the date of celebrating Jesus to coincide with the pagan holiday, also Christmas trees are actually pagan as well because of good omens for the following harvest and all.

I do both. Some of them fall on the same day, like Samhain/Halloween, and I celebrate Yule on December 21st and Christmas the 25th because my family is Catholic. -
