I closed my eyes, and prayed that we would travel back to our time.
-
Then it happened. That same odd feeling as we switched back to our own time. I hung on to Greek, praying he would come with us.
-
Then everything again started spinning and turning different colours. I started to feel dizzy, the world became brighter and more colourful by the seconds, it spun faster and faster, making everything a bright blur.
-
Then, it just stopped. We were back at camp half blood, and Greek had come with us.
-
Then the world started spinning, and everything returned to normal. I was back in camp half blood. Sep was brushing himself off by the breakfast cabin. Everything was like it had been before, except one thing.
-
I fell to the ground, spread my limbs out wide, and sighed in relief. "We're back!"
-
I couldn't feel the warmth of Amunet's hand anymore. I looked to my left, and screamed out in horror.
-
Greek and I looked over to Lunevette (I really f---ing hope I spelt that right). I raced over, "What's wrong?"
-
(Yes you did)
"A-A-" I couldn't speak. I pointed to my left. I pointed, to Amunet's dead body. -
My eyes widened in horror, my mouth refusing to move.
-
Her skin was a pale blue, and her eyes had rolled back. Her chest wasn't moving, and she lay restless on the pavement.
-
"Nobody died the first time!" Someone shouted.
-
I sat down on the steps to a cabin. This was too hard to bear. I wanted to die. Amunet, was my only happiness in life since I left the camp.
-
My mind was reeling. Why did Amunet die? Was it because Greek came back with us?
-
Sep came over to me, and tried comforting me. I pushed him away. I needed time to sit, and think about this. Analyze it, understand it, accept it.
