Lol. I have been hallucinating and hearing things. Is this bad?

Yeah, this morning I heard my alarm clock 20 minutes after it went off and when I checked to see if it was on, I saw that it wasn't. After I left my room, I saw a guy in black standing in my living room. I blinked and he was gone. Then when I was taking the trash out, I saw a big black animal with red eyes in the woods. I stared at it, backed up from the trash can, and blinked. After I blinked it was gone. Is this bad? A friend told me I am suffering from insomnia, but I don't know.
