Where have you run off too?
The cold light that burned me
Everything is pitch black
Only shadows keep me company
Where have you run off too?
The love that was stolen from me
Is no where in sight
Leaving me numb

The beating in my chest
The familiar sound that filled my ears
Everything is quiet; I am empty
Where have you gone?
The happiness that once filled my days
The smile I once wore as an accessory
The laughter that filled this deathly air
The calm in me that is no longer there
Where have you gone?
Who stole you from me?
What filled you with so much fright
You no longer show yourself?
Where did you run too?
Where do you hide?
Will I ever find you again?
Where did you run off too?
While the deathly, cold air,
The numb silent presence,
Dark, menacing shadows
And I
Sit down for tea
Where did you run off too?

Where there is no where to go
I hide in the darkest shadows
Watching you look for me
Calling my name and searching
I run into the black
Never stopping
Never looking back
Happy as your voice gets faint
Why do these tears fall?
When I think of you
Why does it hurt so much?
When I remember everything you put me through
I cry salty tears
Praying they’ll drown out everything that is you
Wanting them to crash around me like rain
The pain I feel
When memories of us attack me
Is like a thousand knives stabbing my heart
Tearing me to pieces
You were apart of me
But I ripped you out
Now there is an empty spot
That echoes of hurt
Days of ‘I love you’ and ‘forever’
Are like reflections in water
One rivulet and it all goes away
Where do I hide?
Where do I run?
Why do these tears fall?
Why does it hurt so much?
For Answers I turn away
And try to not think of you
