Sort of. I feel like you don't see witches as being people, and you think that witches aren't real. -
But I'll feel ridiculous if I do that.

Look, I don't wanna turn this into a debate, and I don't wanna answer the question. My last post sounded pretty shallow, so... I don't wanna ruin your mood even further. -

I never go out on Halloween anyways. I just watch Halloween specials to pass the time.
Witches are magical beings who possess spells, use cauldrons, ride on broomsticks, and keep blacks cats as pets, since they bring bad luck, according to superstition. Witch hunts existed around Salem, where even the most average of folks were accused of witchcraft. To prove that one was a witch required tossing someone in water. If one drowns, not a witch; if floating, is a witch. -

Okay, thank you. Witches aren't magical beings, we're normal people who practice magick. Brooms are used to spiritually cleanse a space by "sweeping" away the negative energy. I remember reading somewhere that black cats are actually good to have because of something in their fur that keeps pests away, or something like that. And witches mostly have black furred animals because they are sacred to Hecate (Goddess of magick and crossroads). The Burning Times were truly horrible. I don't understand how people could do that. -

Yes, witch hunts were terrible indeed. Either you were hanged or burned at stake. Its just gruesome to watch. -

Hardly anyone does. A witch is someone who practices witchcraft, and someone who honors and is attuned with nature.
