She sat up, but did not stop crying.

He put her arms around her, and ran his hand through her hair a few times. "It's ok...it was just a dream. It's over now." He whispered, trying to re-assure her.

She put her head on his shoulder, eventually she stopped crying. "Yeah, just a dream." She muttered.

"Can you tell me about it?" He asked, wiping a tear off ehr cheek.

That's a unique spelling of her.))
She nodded. "My family, we were in Alabama for the weekend. We were staying at my cousin's ranch. My sister wanted to go for a walk, but my mom dident want her to go alone, so we all went..." She stopped talking for a second.
I'm sorry. Just wanted to make fun of you for that.)) -

"And....?" he whispered. -
"And someone had a gun, and they shot them....My mom, my dad, and one of my sisters. Me and Kaite got shot to...but we lived. " She spoke slowly, trying not to cry.

He nodded, hugging her tightly. "I-im really sorry..." He whispered.

* "You can cry if you want. It's ok."

She sighed and moved closer to him. "I don't want to cry."

He nodded, and lightly kissed her forehead.

She looked up at him and smiled sadly.

"At least it wasn't your fault." He said. "It was my fault when my dad killed my mom." He whispered.

She frowned. "How can that be your fault?"
