No,he couldn't just sit there.It wasn't a long way from the town so he could hopefully get there on time if anything bad was happening. -

My eyes widened, I remembered what they did to angels like me, they burnt your wings till they turned black. Our wings are very sensitive and something like a burn is told to hurt like hell, but before I could do anything the fire started around my wings, I bit my tongue to stop myself from crying out from the pain, it grew and the pain grew with it. -

I felt the fire cool down and I sighed in relief, but my wings weren't black yet, they were instead a deep grey, why did they stop? But then I see him, standing there for them to see him, I mentally facepalmed, does he have a death wish or something? They glared at him, some smirked and before I could do anything they all began to approach him as fast as they could, all eager to have a new slave
