Jil moved closer to him. "Maybe."

"Id be glad to," I shift and lay down next to her.

She smiled and rested her head on his chest. She ran a hand down his fur. It was soft. Softer than any fox or bunny she's ever petted.

I smile and sigh, looking down at her.

Jill closed her eyes and slowly fell asleep.

I closed my eyes, going quickly to sleep.

Jill had the dream again. The dream she's had over and over again. She trembled in her sleep.

I was in her dream, unknown as to why, I was a wolf and watched them, waiting for my moment.

Jill snapped out of it and woke up. She hugged michael tighter.

I let out a low growl, just instinctive.

jill sighed and let go.

I opened one eye and looked at her.

She kept both eyes open, staring at nothing.

"Everything okay?" I say, low and tired.

She nodded, looking down.
