I moved my weapons to the trunk, except for my pistol and a knife, which went under the drivers seat.

She rolled the suitcase and backpack downstairs, and locked the house door behind her

I have the door open, and I rush over, "I got it," I look at the backpack and breifcase.

She handed the suitcase over and got in the car. "So...are we going to the mountains or something?"

"yeah." I load her things in the backseat and get in.

"What state....?" She asked, getting in the car.

"Colorado. Closest town is Colorado Springs." I start the Camero and drive off.

She sighed and looked out the window. "How long of a drive is that?"

"about five hours. Then a day and a half hike to the cabin itself" I say, heading for the interstate.
