She sighed and grabbed the keys to her car. Alright, you're on a small island in the middle of willabe lake...just... stay there. You're ok with 2 person kyaks, right?
She asked, walking out the door. -

She said, driving to the shore of the lake. -
Were both pretty banged up, I say, passing out again.

She inspected the rack of kayaks. 1 person....2 person...and a few canoes. No 3 person kayaks. She had to improvise somehow...

I laid on the sand, unconsciously shifting.

She grabbed a rope from the abandoned beach house and tied a 2 person and 1 person kayaks together. That would be alot more wieght on her back.

She would come and get me soon... Everything would be fine...

She pushed the 2 kayaks into the water and got in the 1 person kyaks, slowly rowing it so the island. She would need to save her energy if she was gonna kayak a 2 person kyak AND 2 heavy guys back to the shore.

I stirred, and shifted back, moving as little as possible to conserve my strength to help Jill go back to shore.
