"Well...then who? Who else would care about me?" She asked, confused. She took the glass of water and drank it quickly.

He set a cup of milk down in front of Jake then poured one for himself. "People, like the police, he's thinking."
Jake frowned up at Roy. "She knows my name, does she know yours?" -
She rolled her eyes. "Answer me. Who else?!"

Roy leaned against the counter. "Just the police, is all. The city might pay to get one of their citizens back. Although we don't know, we haven't tried it before." He frowned at Jake.

"But....why me? Why not a guy?" she sat back down.

Jake went back to reading the paper, leaving Roy to answer.
He took her cup and refilled it. "I just do what Jake says, I'm not sure. Makes the city less reliant on the victim, I guess. But don't worry, there's a woman coming to supervise this place later today. She owns it." -
"Fine." She slowly drank the water.

Roy turned to get food out of the fridge. "I'm Roy, by the way."

"k." She finished her water. Sara lost her appitite. She went back to her room.

Roy watched her for a while then glared at Jake. "You're not going to hurt her."

She kept the door open, so she could hear the conversation going on downstars.

Jake smirked "And why not? She's young, she's pretty, she's sassy."
"That's not the plan. That was never the plan."
Jake: "Plans change."
He glared. "Not this time." -
Her eyes widened as she heard them talking.

Jake: "And why not? I can do what I want."
He shook his head. "No you won't. You're not going to lay a finger on her. I'll make sure of that."
Jake laughed. "You're right, I'll lay my entire body on her."
He punched the other guy in the stomach-hard. "Leave her be." -
She felt grossed out. *What a perv..* She thought to herself.
