Pumpkin started to back away. Her ears flattened and her tail dropping. She made a wrong step, though, and was sent tumbling onto the forest floor.

inferno ran at the cat and was about to attack it

"Please, don't hurt me!" Pumpkin said, backing against the wall and shaking.

inferno suddenly stopped, then said," I thought you were about to attack me"

"Attack you! I can't even catch a mouse!" Pumpkin exclaimed, slowly walking away from the wall.

Vincent watched to see what happened wondering if he should run in and take the wolf by surprise, it would be the only way this skinny dog could beat him in a fight.

inferno growled again and said," you were digging your claws in like you wanted to fight me" inferno's eyes started turning fire red

"I was trying to stay balanced." Pumpkin said, backing up to the wall again.

Vincent decided he didn't need to be sticking his neck out for anyone else so instead of rushing in there he just said Hey wolf your a loser and ducted down in the grass hoping the cat would take that moment to run.

inferno heard someone say," hey, wolf, your a loser" and ran straight towards who said it and attacked the other animal

Pumpkin then ran back to her house. She sat just inside the cat door, breathing hard.

Vincent was just able to jump out of the way in time and darted off into the trees at a super fast run swearing he'd never help out anyone else again.

inferno looked for the cat but couldn't find it, he went back in his burnt forest
