"You brother?" I said, I had no idea she had one. Then, I had a flashback. When I was paddling back to my island, I remembered a small figure of a boy, trying to grab on to a floating suitcase.
-
"Yes. His name's Thommas, Tomy for short." I said, looking out across the deep blue sea.
-
"I think I saw him." I said, returning from the flashback.
-
"Y-you did? Wha-where is he?" I asked eagerly.
-
"When I was paddling back to this island with you on my canoe, I remember seeing the figure of a small boy trying to grab onto a floating suitcase." I replied to Ese.
-
"He's alive! I know it! He's on the island somewhere, but where could he be?"
-
"I'm not sure, the island is very large. And we have no garuntee that he made it here." I said, trying to not let Ese's hopes down.
-
"But he had to have made it here! I know he did!" I shouted, then dropped my voice, "Without him, I don't have anything to live for. Without him, my life insuggnificant."
-
"Okay, okay, we'll look for him. But after breakfast, okay?"
-
I nodded, and stood. "Thank you, Izzy."
-
I nodded. "I have been wanting to explore some parts of the island, and this would be a great chance." I said, and saw people heading to the breakfast cabin.
"Its time for breakfast, lets go." I said and started hurrying to get the best seat. -
I followed Izzy quickly, and got many strange looks from the villagers. It would be a while before they got used to me.
-
I took a seat to the left of my father, and then we raised our hands to the sky in prayer to the spirits.
-
I felt akward as everyone did a prayer while I had no idea what to do.
-
"Mehrsoh, flokay." he finished, and we began to eat. I told Ese what foods were which, so she could understand what she was eating.
