I threw the covers over my head. The voices were still floating in my head and I suddenly started dreaming of Daniel.

I had a sick feeling in my stomach as I thought about my mothers huge smile when she'd dropped me off at the school. She'd been willing to get rid of me. She'd been ready. I rubbed my eyes.

I smiled in my dream, his image glued in my head...

After countless minutes thinking of it, her, my father, I began to sob softly in my pillow. I hoped to God I wasn't loud. I was quite childlike when I cried. I attempted forcing the thoughts from my mind, but coming to.no avail.

Everything went black and I could no longer see him. In fact I heard someone crying. I slowly openned my eyes, squinting and finally pushing the covers off my face.

Squeezing my eyes to prevent the tears from pushing through, I hugged my pillow. Against my efforts, waterfallish tears rushed down my cheeks. I let out soft, puppylike noise.

My tear-filled eyes stared at the wall, droplets of water flowing from them. I drew in shaky breaths. -

I tensed up, squirming. My tears weren't feeling the need to cease. So I just let out a muffled, "N-no."
