I would find that none of them ever think about this.
I've heard that at some point, there was a time when news of a murder was followed by a loud gasp, absolute shock, tears, sadness. Not "Another one? When are they gonna catch this guy?" What happened to humanity? What made them turn to lies and murder and hatred? I can't imagine what force there is that could justify it, and no one else even cares. Do you see all the murders on the news? The shootings, the rapes, the stabbing, the robbery, the war... All of this, and no one thinks twice about it, because it's commonplace now. Does anyone understand what a tragedy the human race is? How deeply we've fallen? How hard it will be to claw our way out of this? We're stuck in a world where all we can say is "that's life." It's not life. It's death and despair, and so much senseless bloodshed... And all this hatred toward all the wrong people, people who don't deserve it. What is it? Humanity has nothing better to do than torch the innocents dragged into a world they wish would just disappear, but too much on their hands to deal with the crime and the violence? Why? Why does this have to be this way? Right now, my grandmother is wasting away. She thinks her own son hates her. She thinks he's planning on taking all of her money when she's gone. And once she's gone, the only people who will mind will be our family. It's horrible. This is how the world works now. No one minds being surrounded by all this sorrow and death, so long as it doesn't touch their lives..
Am I really the only one who thinks about this? Honestly? No one else ever worries about how far the world will go before they realize it's not getting better? That's horrible. It's like a nuclear war will have to break out before anyone decides they want to do something about it. The entire human race will have to die off just to make someone realize there's something wrong other than their hair, or the fact that two boys are holding hands, or that someone doesn't worship their god. -

Its truly horrid that the petty things are...more important to humans, in a sense.
Its all "OMFG JUSTIN BIEBER SMOKED POT."
Or "Ew...Like...lesbian...fag..."
Or "Who's Taylor gonna date next?"

You,have earned...alot of repsect from me after reading that. I agree. Im sorry for your grandmother, I lost mine a year ago and almost went into depression if it wernt for my friends I might have made a big mistake...
