LAZY TUMBLR PROMPT
i really don’t feel like doing this but,, i said i would write at least one drabble a day
I watched Mikhail’s lazy handwriting jump in between the invisible lines of copy paper. A single section of his dirty blond hair fell into his face; he tucked it behind his ear with great annoyance before returning to his messy notes. All of his actions intrigued me; from the way he only half smiles in public to the way flings his vintage bag over his shoulder. Mikhail’s mannerisms brought me to wonder if he ever thought of me in this extent. My cheeks reddened at the thought.
“Can I help you?” He whispered with sharp inflection.
“I’m sorry.” I responded quickly. “I was... wondering if you wanted to work with me after school? To fix your notes.”
My brain screamed: the fact I couldn’t think of a different and far superior lie was ridiculous and embarrassing. Regardless, Mikhail glanced at his desk with a pure grin and nodded.
“Why not?” He forced his text book into his bag. “And why not now?”
The thought of skipping class was incredibly foreign to me, yet inviting to the same degree. As I placed my book into its place, Mikhail watched my movements with an expression of fondness. I blushed further and shared a knowing look with him.
“Let’s go.” -
