The sounds, the voices
They are what reveals to me
The world unseen.
Since I was just
A little girl
My soul could rest
in this simply world
The music in me.
From the high notes
To the low notes
You capture the essence.
The suspense.
My sweet sanity.
So I will sing
Even when it rains
When I am all alone
As the water drains
My only way to be free. -
