running through my veins like toxin

rage threatens to devour me
and take my life as it's own
try to kill it off but
it controls me like a puppeteer
taking away hopes and dreams
and swallowing me whole
my life is built of anger and
all these people won't let me be
this rage eats me alive
and threatens to destroy
i can't live with this frustration
dragging me down
i can't hope to see tommorrow
if i can't find control somehow
i force it down i swallow it
like a bitter pill
i let you lacerate me cuz i know
i can't control myself
rattling the cage of a beast
you brought this on yourself
just because i suck it up
you think you can kick me around
why would you try to set me back?
just look at what you've done
someday you'll push me to my breaking point
will you still think it's fun?
anger and rage
destroying all it sees in it's path
i was only in between it
