Ya... Kinda like the people that think the buttstock goes on your arm next to your shoulder... That is inaccurate, painful, looks stupid, and just streight up ignorance.

If you have terrible shooting with an assault rifle the way it's supposed to be held, then your arms aren't sturdy enough to keep it straight.

Ya. But mostly with something big, long, and rapid fire like an assault rifle you have to take aim, fire as your aim passes over the target, then adjust for another shot. Atleast when standing, 'cuz it is difficult to get a steady aim on the target when standing. It is difficult to stay on target too. When standing, you just gota shoot at the right moment when the gun is perfectly on target, 'cuz lord knows it is way to hard to stay on target long enough to tinker with the shot to hit in a better position. That is why snipers typically go prone for a shot.
