tongue NewbieI read up on Black Metal, and I find the entire scene absolutely appalling. Euronymous was a sociopath, and the guy who killed him, Varg Vikenes, is even worse, and like more than a few people in the Black Metal scene, he's a Nazi. I'd be a little afraid of anyone who listens to this stuff. You gotta be more than a little sadistic to find Black Metal appealing.

tongue NewbieVarg has stated himself that he is a Nazi, and Euronymous sent death threats to other Black Metal bands. And frankly, it's pretty clear to me that Varg's murder of Euronmymous was premeditated- the guy smiled when was convicted.

Ya, but what really sucks, is that a lot of Black Metal artists are now doing it for the money. Infact, after Varg killed Euro, everyone had started listening to Black Metal, and Varg himself said that Death Metal bands slapped some corpse paint on their faces and called themselves Black Metal. :/ But the undergroaned Black Metal scene is still going good.
