I mean, they CAN sing...
but I don't get why fans are so CRAZY over them. I listened to their songs on YouTube and honestly wasn't wowed :/ -

They're f---ing awesome, bro.
I love their music, their talent and their personality! Yes, I have One Direction infection and you say that as if it's a bad thing... it's not.
Their songs...are beautiful and catchy. It has a lot of meaning to it, especially the What Makes You Beautiful song. They are soooooooo hot as well, but it's their talent that really gives them the fame that they deserve :) -
Just another crappy boyband that will loose their touch after a while like every other popstar.So much for their so called 'loyal' fans.

Girls like boy bands for some reason, I think it's because of looks, not the music... Like, I like: My Favorite Highway because they have good lyrics and have awesome voices. I'm not sure if My Favorite Highway is a boy band... It might just be a band... It's kind of sad that they broke up... ._.

Well, someone thought they had SOME talent so they put the song on the radio. And then a bunch of teenage girls who really only like stuff because it's popular freaked out and started listening to them.
And then there are people like Kirby who actually listen to them because she likes the way their music sounds and what's in it.
I have to admit, their music is kind of catchy. But I wouldn't download their songs, or go to their concert, or spend my time listening to them. That's just my personal opinion. -
Little girls like them because they look like Abercrombie and Fitch models.

I despise them. I find them to be as fake as most 'musician's' these days.
I'll stick with SHINee. Their music doesn't sound like it was ripped off from somewhere else. -
Funny because the only people I know that like them are 12-13 year old girls. xD

I'm ok with one directions music but it gets so annoying when so many people are obsessed with them and don't talk about anything else

SilverBlueMoon NoviceI think some people like the band because the members are "cute". My brain, however, is wired in such a form that I am immune to physical attraction upon seeing a face.
I actually like them for their music. It's not the best I've ever heard, but at least I don't want to throw their CD out of my window.
