Yet to the generation of today, rock music is practically shunned and forgotten. Because it's not someone rapping about drugs, sex, and basically telling guys to treat women like s---.

Yep that sums up today. No wonder we're all gonna die in December.
Rock N' Roll and Metal today is pretty much s--- too,all these new bands suck. -
I stick with the Japanese. Even if they're not the best at first. Each new band looks up to an older more meaningful one. And they change and developed overtime. If I were to ever form a band and be interviewed and they asked what's my inspiration, plain and simple. Dir En Grey and The GazettE. Both unique and beautiful in ways most Americans can't understand. Or choose not to understand.

Although I'll always love the 80s and 90s rock I heard growing up. ^-^

You know, rock music used to be about drugs, sex, and treating women like s---. It was a little milder than today's rap, but the idea is basically the same. Maybe people feel like rock has become too serious since the early 90s. Personally, though, I think alot of people treat music the same way they treat a disposable product like razor blades, so they end up misssing the good stuff.

Yeah. I recall many songs like that among rock.
Personally, I really like how Kyo doesn't sing about the world. .3.
He's not here to entertain or encourage us to do anything, yet he subconsciously does. And he's fine with however people interpret his work. But he's really more focused on pushing himself 100 percent instead of 'performing'.
