I used you know this boy,
That had problems at hand,
He never spoke a word,
Unless it was of yours,
Never accepted help,
Never said a thing,
I can't believe he did this,
'Cos he would always sing,
Until the day he cracked,
And he said something like this,
'Cos this is how it went;
"It's not like I am weak, Or that I dont know what's defeat,

I seem to lose my grip on time,
Until there's nothing left to know,
Until there's nothing left to hear,

But it's nothing that I feel."
I used to know his girl,
She'd always take my things,
She said it'd give her pleasure,
These diamond plated rings,
She said nothing was wrong,
Until the day she freaked out,
Because all the things were gone,
And she wrote me a note and it went like,
It spelled something like this;
"It's not like I'm insane,
Or that Im really slippin' up,
It's just that every time I give my love,
You always turn it down,
Until there's nothing left to argue,
'Til there's nothing left to say,
Whenever I will listen,
You always turn away."
We used to know each other,
We'd always joke around,
We'd smile until we couldnt,
Other times we'd frown,
Who'd know what it'd come to?
Who'd know what we'd say?
We thought that we could fix it,
But I guess that gave away.
I loved her attitude,
And her love of altitudes,
But the was nothing that in common,
When it came to us just talking,
