There is no "worst singer". They all got famous for a reason. How do you think the most popular singers today got famous? They got discovered by record labels because their voice is good. Looks and personality is a bonus to complete the whole package. If there's a really bad singer out there, she/he wouldn't be famous.

I mean, if you seriously know some s--- about the music industry, you can't just expect some big record label to go up to a really good-looking dude playing the guitar with a really awful and off-tune voice, to offer him a contract? Of course not!
For example: "Taylor Swift can't sing." Oh yeah, if her voice is really that bad then how did Big Machine Record Labels even THINK about taking her in?
Record labels discover people who can sing, maybe some good looks and personality, but they have to SING GOOD. If they can't sing, they won't get taken in. -
The list is endless.
