Ok ok first off
In the new musical Wonka, Timothee obviously does a cover of Pure Imagination
But the lyric goes like this in the first verse:
If you want to view paradise
Simply look at them and view it
And note that this at the end of the movie, after Noodle is reunited with her mother -
And I feel like after rewatching Hamilton for the millionth time, it’s not all about Alexander’s story
I feel like it was also supposed to highlight Eliza, who put up with her husband when it was partially his fault their son died and when he cheated on her
But she forgave him just before he died and channeled all that fury into passion and did many great things before she died too
Like she founded the orphanage so that orphans (like Alexander) didn’t have to go through the same struggle that he did, so in a way she achieved just as much as Alexander in her life -
