What genre do you think 5 Seconds of Summer are? Are they pop, rock, or something different.

I mean their music varies, so i think it's just more simple to keep with pop-punk.

I mean, there's "Long Way Home" and "Amnesia", and those are softer.
Then there's songs like "Social Casualty", "18", and "End Up Here". -
.... I don't know anything about the band, but that song was a redo of a famous 80's song by The Romantics. (But hopefully, you knew that already.) I can't really say... their style seems to swat more borderline pop with a slight rock twist, but overral I think if they had to be classified in one genre it would be pop...
This is based off of what I have heard. I can't really say what they are because I don't really listen to them. -

but anyways, i think it depends on the song
amnesia was clearly pop but some of the others just don't fit
