Thread Topic: Screaming techniques?

Lately I've been learning how to scream. The technique I've been practicing with starts off as whispering then gets progressively stronger. It seems to be going well so far but if you know any other techniques that aren't harmful, I'd love to hear them.

Use the diaphragm, that's how I learned. Start by saying your vowels "a e i ooooooo u " it helps as a warm up. The whole idea of a proper scream that won't sound inhaled or harm your chords, is the diagram scream. It literally is more air than anything. When screaming don't have your mouth wide open, in fact have it as closed as you can. This will produce a louder sound.
^all that was for the low screams. I don't really know much about the Chris motionless high screams since they are harder to achieve. Hope this helps.
