Mabye in rock, but in Metal it's not the rythm, that's what drums and rythmic guitar are for, you have to play along with the guitar, with is going at an amazing speed most ov the time, and if you can onbly play rock with bass, then your sh|t out ov luck. Another problem with 'rockers' you think bass is so sh|tty, when there is more to it.
