tongue Experiencedwhen I try to listen to Suicide Silence. Probably because I've been listening to heavier music lately. Obviously I got really into Lamb of God, but I've also been listening to Hatebreed, Children of Bodom, and even Cannibal Corpse. Actually it's worth mentioning that like Suicide Silence, I never thought I'd get into Lamb of God.
Tastes change. Keep an open mind. -
Ya, you can be addicted to one band and then like another, my ears used to hurt when I listened to Suicide Silence, but not anymore really, I just get addicted to Bloodbath or Bring Me The Horizon.
-
I know what you mean. For a while, I only listened to Thrash, and then, th first time I listened to Death Metal, I thought it was god awful. Then, after a while, I guess it just grew on me. And then came other genres.
-
Actually, I was completely Thrash (And I did listen to Heavy Metal too), and then I listened to a band called We Butter The Bread With Butter. It completely changed the way I thought, and that was actually what led me to enjoy Death Metal.
-
In fact, I found a lot of different genres that I came to like from that band believe it or not. I wont go on with them all, because each one kinda has a story behind it. And also, even though I never did like Death Metal before, I had always liked Bloodbath (Idk why).

There's a difference between Heavy Metal and all of the millions of fuking sub-sub-sub-sub genres. But it's all Metal.

tongue ExperiencedWhat would pure, unadulterated Heavy Metal be? Black Sabbath?
-
