Pfft no! All but 3 songs on Metallica's Master of Puppets album are 6 minutes or longer, and 3 of those are 8 minutes or longer.

Oh also, Green Day does have 2 songs longer than 9 minutes- Jesus of Suburbia and Homecoming.
