  Read it a few times, then cover the line and say it, but close your eyes because if you get distracted by something it can throw you off, and after you learn a new line, say the whole thing from the beginning to where you got so you don't forget and you're back to square one.
  NOTE: I have never been in a play, so I have no experience, but when I have to learn something at school then that's what I do.
