  In the first movie, they combined Annabeth and Clarisse to save money on actors. That's why Annabeth in the movie has brown hair. But they basically screwed the whole series by doing that.

  @madid- I guess you learn something new every day cause I just learned about that. I always suspected it had to do with money.
