If they keep the actress that plays Annabeth, then the movies still gonna suck. Idk she just bothers me and she's like 24

Personally I think it will fail. The first one sucked and was way off from the book.

The first movie was so far off from the mark that I don't completely understand how it's possible for them to correctly portray the second.

They kinda messed up The Sea of Monsters already. The quest is only for the Golden Fleece, not for saving Grover who never went on the Quest for Pan. They're all out of age still, Annabeth still doesn't have her Yankees cap, and how are they gonna explain that Annabeth turned blonde? I hope they just pretend that she was always a blonde, it's better than acknowledging it.

The first one was trash. If you didn't notice they left off the antagonist, they didn't use the right age group, and they couldn't even get the actress to wear a wig. e.e seriously, it's not that hard, they could've photoshopped her hair so it was the right color to be honest. They just completely ignored the book and were like, "this is good, but leave out the parts that ACTUALLY make it worth seeing"

TornethMoonleaf NewbieI'm super excited for it! But the first movie was so messed up.... I watched the trailer, Sea of Monsters looked alright. I've seen movies that literally just used the book's title and characters and made up a brand new plot.
First movie comments:
Percy- Okay actor and matches description, but AGE!
Annabeth- Lets see, actor alright, but what's up with the blue eyes and brown hair? Wayyy too old.
Grover- Okay, not being racist, but I never expected him to be African American. -
idk i mean i know they are different from the books but logan lerman is pretty freaking good. and i think the girl that plays annabeth has like really cool eyes,just saying. and grover is funny so i dont think it even matters..

I only want to watch Sea of Monsters for Logan Lerman and the guy who plays Grover.
